Western Beginner Riding Lessons

Beginner riding lessons teach you how to properly groom, care for and safely handle a horse as well as tacking up and basic riding skills.  All students must be at least 8 years of age and approved safety attire must be worn at all times.

All private lessons are scheduled to last one hour, however, this time may run over by 15minutes due to unforeseen circumstances. If the lesson goes 30 minutes over the scheduled time, an additional lesson fee will be charged.

All students must sign an *insurance liability waiver, students under 16 years of age require their parents’ signature.

*Cancellation Policy: We require 12 hours cancellation notice for private lessons and 24 hour notification for group bookings. If a student does not show up without proper notice the regular lesson fee will apply. If weather is unsuitable to ride students will be given an unmounted lesson in the barn.

Fees: $40.00  one hour private lesson

        $60 one and half hour private

        $35 each for group lessons

** If you wish to pay in advance you can do so by paying with cheque, credit card, etransfer or cash.
