Spirit Reins Ranch Welcomes New Colt

The Gilbert family at Spirit Reins Ranch welcomed the arrival of a baby quarter horse on April 4 2018. Born to Mika (a buckskin quarter horse), the foal was named Spirit after the ranch as our first baby! Spirit is lively and friendly colt, who loves to run and play with the herd.

**NEW TRAIL RIDE 2018**

We are very excited to announce a new trail riding experience this year!

Spirit Reins Ranch is partnering with Newville Lakeview Farms, a seven generation maple syrup and blueberry farm owned by the Davison family. We will have access to 1200 acres of wooded trails, farm fields and old woods roads. Your tour includes panoramic views of highland landscape and lakes, as well as the maple sugar woods. A home cooked lunch of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup or pulled pork sandwich can be arranged for an additional fee.

NEW TRAIL 2017

 **NEW** Wards Falls Trail

Our newest adventure is an 8 km ride along a meandering brook through a wooded trail in Wards Brook valley. Take in the sounds of nature deep in the woods as you follow the mountain river to Wards Falls. This area is rich in geographical and geological significance. The canyon gorge shows rock formations that are evidence of Pangaea and the continental drift, that occurred over 300 million years ago. At the falls we will stop for a break, where you will have a picnic lunch and plenty of time to explore the sights of the waterfall and canyon gorge.

Fee (2.5 – 3 Hours) $150 per person or $130 each for two or more people.
